Event Gallery: Women as Pillars of Economic and Social Transformation- June 14, 2025

June 14, 2025 – Lagos, Nigeria

Braving heavy rainfall, women, families, and changemakers gathered at Shanon Parks and Event Centre, LASU-Isheri Road, opposite General Hospital, Igando, Lagos, for a powerful event organized by the Committed Family Business Fellowship (CFBF). and Kingdom Heirs Fellowship Ministries Inc. (KHFM). Themed “Women as Pillars of Economic and Social Transformation,” the event placed a strong emphasis on business and entrepreneurship as tools for family and societal upliftment.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Ayo Shonde, President of CFBF, underscored the importance of economically empowered women in nation-building. “When women are given the tools to succeed in business, they not only build wealth—they build stable homes and thriving communities,” he said. “This is not just a conversation about gender; it’s a conversation about impact.”

Guest speaker Mrs. Anne Uwhubetine, a seasoned educationist and entrepreneur, challenged women to rise above limitations and embrace their role in economic development. “Every woman has the capacity to create wealth,” she noted. “Entrepreneurship is not only about income—it’s about influence, legacy, and lifting others along the way.”

Echoing similar sentiments, Mrs. Mercy Notoma, a respected leader in enterprise development, shared practical insights on managing business and family life. “You can raise children and raise capital,” she said. “With the right mindset and mentorship, women can run successful businesses and still build strong families.”

The event featured an engaging lineup of discussions on topics such as business leadership, financial independence, work-life balance, and breaking barriers in the entrepreneurial space. Participants were encouraged to ask questions, share experiences, and connect with mentors.

Many attendees described the program as inspiring and deeply relevant. “This gathering has shifted my perspective on what is possible,” one participant shared. “It’s not just about surviving anymore—it’s about thriving, as women, as families, and as a society.”

As part of its ongoing mission, CFBF continues to equip families with the knowledge, values, and entrepreneurial tools needed to navigate today’s challenges and build legacies of impact.
